Edu1000 awareness walk brings Osogbo residents, volunteers, community organizations, and supporters together for a common purpose: improving educational opportunities for children across Osun State.

On May 23rd, 2026, Child Wellbeing Initiative (CWI) organized an awareness walk to launch support for Edu1000, an initiative to provide learning materials for 1,000 children, train 200 teachers in inclusive education practices, and equip schools with learning resources.

The walk brought together community members who believe that every child deserves access to quality education regardless of their background or learning needs.

Throughout the walk, participants helped raise awareness about the importance of:

  • Inclusive education
  • Teacher training
  • Learning materials for underserved children
  • Community involvement in education

More Than a Walk

This event was more than a public awareness campaign. It demonstrated the willingness of Osogbo residents to come together and invest in the future of children. Every conversation, every step, and every show of support brought us closer to the goals of Edu1000.

Thank You

We are grateful to every volunteer, partner organization, donor, and participant who joined us. Your support shows that education remains a priority for our community.
